Level 2 & 3 NVQ Certificate/Diploma in Tourism/Travel Services
Learners will be expected to possess a sound knowledge and experience of travel and tourism related services. This qualification is ideal if:
- you want to gain a qualification which recognises and confirms your skills and competence in a range of leisure or and tourism related services
- if you are aspiring to progress to a supervisory or team leading role in the future.
We would require a pre-course meeting to discuss the course and to establish that this level is suitable for you ‘the candidate’. We will also check that the candidate has the ability to demonstrate competence in working practices within their current work role.
There are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking this NVQ; however candidates must have the potential and opportunity to gain evidence for the qualification in the work place and ideally should be employed in a Leisure, Tourism or Tourism services role. Therefore, employer agreement and consent is essential. You will have learned your skills on the job or by attending training courses and your assessor will help you to identify if there are any skills gaps which need to be filled prior to assessment.

Customer Feedback
“The overall experience of working with GCS Training has been an extremely successful one and we hope to replicate this with future trainees. The apprenticeship programme has been a resounding success with all three successfully completing the course and more importantly using this knowledge and experience to move on to attain full time employment. The biggest impact the training had was on the confidence of individuals.
