NVQ Contact Centre Operations Level 2

This qualification is suitable for those who have particular customer service and administrative job roles within the contact centre industry.        

18th IET Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671 : 2018 -100% funded subject to eligibility

The 18th edition course is a new course that replaces the 17th edition course from July 2018 onward. On January 1st, 2019, all electrical installations are to comply with BS 7671:2018.

C&G Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service (QCF)

This qualification reflects the skills and knowledge required of people working in a customer service role. It is also ideal for employees wanting to evidence both knowledge and competence in their given Customer Service role.

C&G Level 3 Certificate in Advice & Guidance (QCF)

This qualification is primarily aimed at candidates who provide advice and guidance support to others. The qualification requires proof of competence across both mandatory and optional units, achieving a total of 21 credits.  
It is a requirement that every item of portable electrical equipment used in a commercial environment e.g. offices, shops, hotels, factories, schools, rented accommodation etc. is maintained. This means it has been inspected, tested and certified as being safe to use. This applies to all portable electrical equipment e.g.: kettles, toasters, I T equipment

City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety 100% funded

    100% funded  The Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is suitable for managers and supervisors, in all industry sectors, who have responsibilities for health and safety and wish to develop their skills further. It is also suitable for those new to a health and safety role, or health and safety practitioners who wish to progress their career with a professional qualification. This course is accredited by City & Guilds.
This Level 4 qualification is aimed at experienced electricians with a good knowledge of inspection and testing and will develop a deeper understanding of the principles of installation design and specification. The course is theory based, taking candidates from a basic knowledge of BS 7671 to a thorough grasp of design principles to meet the requirements of that standard and particularly emphasising on the safe and ergonomic design on an installation which complies with relevant statutes, regulations; industry standards, and sound engineering practices.

City and Guilds Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice (3655-06)

This qualification is for learners who wish to develop their skills and knowledge in managing health and safety for the workplace. They will have an autonomous role in their organisation for managing health and safety policy and practice. They will report direct to or be part of the senior management team. 

Contact Centre Operations Level 3 (Apprenticeship)

Covering all the essential knowledge and skills required for a successful career in contact centre operations, this qualification is ideal for those who are able to access workplace-based qualifications. 

Data Analytics - Level 4 Apprenticeship

Our Level 4 higher apprenticeship in data analytics is fully-funded, and is designed for learners with prior IT knowledge, experience or qualifications who have been employed within the technology industry for a number of years. Learners should be in a suitable role working with large datasets or big data.

Dementia Awareness - Level 3 Award

According to Welsh Government, 37,000 people in Wales currently have dementia with the number expected to rise to 50,000 within the next 20 years. Dementia Awareness will allow learners to achieve a broad underpinning knowledge of the subject, as well as practical skills that will enable them to support people experiencing dementia.

Health and Social Care: Core - Level 2 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is fully-funded, and is suitable for individuals working in, or intending to work, in the healthcare and social care sectors.

Health and Social Care: Practice (Adults) - Level 3 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is fully-funded and practice-based, which will assess learners' knowledge and competence to practice in employment. It provides learners with the opportunity to enrich their knowledge and skills by using mandatory and optional content. The apprenticeship will be of interest to learners working in domiciliary support services, residential care and learning disability provision, including community based healthcare services.

Health and Social Care: Practice (Children and Young People) - Level 3 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is fully-funded and practice-based, which will assess learners' knowledge and competence to practice in employment. It provides learners with the opportunity to enrich their knowledge and skills, by using mandatory and optional content in settings focused on children and young people.

Health and Social Care: Practice - Level 2 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is fully-funded and practice-based, which will assess learners' knowledge and competence to practice. It develops the learners' ability to practically support the health and care needs of adults in a range of settings, and will enable them to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding, behaviours, skills and practice within a health and social care setting.

Health and Social Care: Professional Practice - Level 4 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is fully-funded and practice-based, which will assess learners' knowledge and practice. The qualification aims to develop the knowledge, understanding, behaviours and skills that underpin Professional Practice within Health and Social Care, enabling learners to become competent within their chosen pathway.

Information, Advice and Guidance - Level 4 Apprenticeship

Our Advice and Guidance higher apprenticeship is fully-funded, and is primarily designed for those employed in roles who provide information and guidance to others. Learners could be working in careers guidance for organisations such as trade unions, schools, housing associations, human resources or health and social care.

Introduction to Trainer Skills

The City & Guilds Introduction to Trainer Skills (7300) provides participants with a sound introduction to the concepts of a systematic approach to training. It’s an intensive course, designed to be delivered over two days, and is ideal for those who train others in organisations.

IT User - Level 2 Apprenticeship

This foundation apprenticeship is fully-funded, and is designed for learners who are new entrants to roles in which they will be working with IT systems and software in a non-technical capacity.

IT User - Level 3 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is fully-funded, and is designed for learners who are new entrants to roles in which they will be working with IT systems and software in a non-technical capacity.

Leadership and Management of Health and Social Care - Level 5 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is a fully-funded, practice-based qualification for those with some experience in a leadership or management role within the health and social care sector. The qualification requires learners to develop the knowledge, understanding, behaviours and skills required for the leadership and management of health and social care settings. It provides an opportunity for those leading and managing health and social care settings for adults, children and young people.

Level 2 & 3 NVQ Certificate/Diploma in Tourism/Travel Services

The NVQ offers a wide range of optional job-specific units including:   Collect and maintain tourism information and provide advice. Display stock and /or manage the receipt of materials. Resolve customer service problems. Build and maintain relationships and customer profiles with customers not present or face to face. Sell tourism and travel services, products or multi-sector air travel. Assist customers prior to and after travelling. Set up and maintain promotional displays and provide related advice. Process travel services bookings and / or complete foreign exchange transactions. Plan and conduct welcoming events or arrange travel itineraries. Assist with travel and tourism problems and emergencies. Lead people on a guided tour and / or manage delivery of a tour. Present a commentary for a guided tour or assist with transfers. Research travel and destination information. Employment rights and responsibilities in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism sector. Obtain and analyse customer feedback and / or monitor business performance.   The City & Guilds qualifications in Travel Services and Tourism Services are aimed at those: performing daily tasks in leisure and tourism services and wish to develop and enhance their skills and knowledge further. already working in a tourism or travel services role (see next page for typical job roles)    

Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy (QCF)

This qualification is for learners wanting to acquire knowledge of Independent Advocacy and the role of an independent advocate. The qualification covers the principles of independent advocacy, the independent advocacy role, communication and equality and inclusion within independent advocacy with an aim to provide learners with an understanding of what independent advocacy is and the principles which underpin good practice.

Level 2 Introduction to Training Skills

This is an intensive 2 day course designed to provide the participants with a sound introduction to the concepts of a systematic approach to training.  It enables the participant to build the skills, knowledge and abilities that is require to be an effective trainer.

Levels 3 Certificate in Learning and Development

This course is suitable for learners who work or want to work as trainers/tutors/assessors in a range of sectors.

Logistics Operations QCF Level 2 Certificate

This qualification is primarily aimed at candidates who work or would like to work within the logistics environment. The qualification can be used as the competence based element of the logistics apprenticeship.      

Logistics Operations QCF Level 3 Certificate

This qualification is primarily aimed at candidates who work as team leaders/office managers or supervisors within the logistics environment. The qualification covers the range of activities carried out by candidates such as team leading, performance management, customer care and the scheduling of operations.        

NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Housing (QCF)

This qualification is designed for learners who work within the Housing Sector The course aims to: • Provide evidence that learners can develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in a housing context • Maintain professional behavior and working relationships in a housing context • Maintain the health safety and security of self and others.      

NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Housing (QCF)

This qualification is designed for learners who work within the Housing Sector The qualification covers areas that allows the learner to explore how to work with colleagues and customers in a way that promotes equality and diversity whilst developing and maintaining ethical safe and sustainable working practices.      

Preparing for Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care - Level 4 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is a fully-funded, knowledge-based qualification which aims to prepare learners for a managerial role. It will enable learners to develop and demonstrate their knowledge, skills and understanding in the context of health and social care settings.
