GCS Training welcomes Nigerian delegation
Working in partnership with Gower College Swansea’s International Office, GCS Training recently secured a contract to design and deliver a transformational Leadership and Management Programme for a major Nigerian organisation.
The course was delivered at Sketty Hall and was designed specifically for senior members, including the President, of Pengasssan - the Petroleum and Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria. It was aimed at providing a short, bespoke, inspirational management training programme designed to introduce change management theory with practical case studies and examples.
The style of learning was interactive and participative, bringing together contemporary management practice in addressing organisational transformation and change. The programme included a meeting with the College Principal Mark Jones and a guided tour of the Welsh Assembly buildings in Cardiff.

This Level 4 qualification is aimed at experienced electricians with a good knowledge of inspection and testing and will develop a deeper understanding of the principles of installation design and specification. The course is theory based, taking candidates from a basic knowledge of BS 7671 to a thorough grasp of design principles to meet the requirements of that standard and particularly emphasising on the safe and ergonomic design on an installation which complies with relevant statutes, regulations; industry standards, and sound engineering practices.
