This qualification is designed for learners who work within the Housing Sector. The qualification covers areas that allows the learner to explore how to work with colleagues and customers in a way that promotes equality and diversity whilst developing and maintaining ethical safe and sustainable working practices; set personal work objectives for their professional development and formulate a plan that deals with gaps in knowledge, understanding and skills which takes into account an organisations vision and objectives; work with customers and colleagues (internal and external) to apply organisational policies and procedures relating to customer service.

The course consists of 3 mandatory units and chosen optional units which could include:-
• Promote safe, ethical and sustainable practice in housing
• Plan own professional development within housing
• Develop positive relationships with customers and colleagues in providing a housing service
These will link to the learners own role.
The course is delivered through a one day initial assessment to produce a personal development plan and monthly meetings which will provide students with the underpinning knowledge and support. This will enable the learner to complete a portfolio of evidence of naturally occurring evidence from the workplace setting over the next 12 months.

This Highfield qualification is aimed at individuals who are, or intend to be food handlers working in catering and hospitality industries, food retail, manufacturing and Health and Social Care provisions.
It is also appropriate for those providing services to catering premises including pest control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners and laundry and delivery personnel.
It is recommended that staff that prepare open high risk foods or handle food and have a supervisory role must have training to a level equivalent to a Level 2 in Food Safety within 3 months of starting work.
