GCS Training supports TEDx Swanssea
Saturday 2 June saw the return of TEDx to Swansea – a series of inspirational talks bringing together thought-leaders and innovators to share their ideas.
GCS Training sponsored the post-event reception to encourage attendees to network and share their thoughts on the evening’s speakers. Hosted in Morgans Hotel, audience members had the opportunity to extend their evening and enjoy drinks and networking in the beautiful Grade II listed building a short walk away from the Waterfront Museum where the talks took place.
Director of TEDx Swansea, Steve Stokes said: “TEDxSwansea is only possible thanks to the generosity of organisations such as Gower College Swansea and GCS Training. The College’s support of the event clearly demonstrates that they share our passion for the region and that they are an advocate for innovation. With our shared vision, I hope that this is the start of a long and successful partnership.”
Head of Employer Development at GCS Training, Jayne Brewer added: “It was a real pleasure to support this event which attracted a wide and varied audience. Generating visibility of GCS Training and Gower College Swansea at events such as these is key to demonstrating our commitment to collaborating with organisations striving to achieve great things for our city. With tickets selling out in under an hour, it is very clear that there is demand for events and initiatives that offer something different. We have no doubt TEDx Swansea will become a key marker in the city’s annual events calendar and we look forward to securing our place at the next one.”
Customer Feedback
“I have found GCS Training and its assessors to be very thorough and use their time on site to provide the highest standard. They provide a lot of one-to-one coaching for individuals who perhaps find it harder than others.
