Contact Centre Operations Level 2 ( Foundation Apprenticeship)
Covering all the essential knowledge and skills required for a successful career in contact centre operations, this qualification is ideal for those who are able to access workplace-based qualifications.
The apprenticeship at Level 2 consists of the following qualifications:
1. City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Contact Centre Operations.
2. Technical Certificate Level 2 in the principles of Contact Centre Operations.
3. Essential Skills Wales - Communication Level 1 and Application of Number Level 1 (proxies may apply)
Course Delivery:
There will be an information and induction session prior to the course commencing. The induction will include enrolment to City and Guilds and Gower College Swansea. The programme will be delivered through blended learning i.e. a series of tutor led taught sessions and assessments in the workplace and/or on-line meetings via Teams. The Essential Skills programme consists of controlled tasks and confirmatory tasks which will be taken under exam conditions. The course is assessed over an 18 month period and is certificated via City and Guilds.

Use systems and technology during customer contact in a contact centre
Deliver customer service through a contact centre
Carry out direct sales activities in a contact centre

Deal with incoming calls from customers
Progression Opportunities:
QCF Level 3 Diploma in Contact Centre Operations or QCF Level 3 Advice & Guidance suitable for those in a supervisory, team leader and coaching role.

This Highfield qualification is aimed at individuals who are, or intend to be food handlers working in catering and hospitality industries, food retail, manufacturing and Health and Social Care provisions.
It is also appropriate for those providing services to catering premises including pest control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners and laundry and delivery personnel.
It is recommended that staff that prepare open high risk foods or handle food and have a supervisory role must have training to a level equivalent to a Level 2 in Food Safety within 3 months of starting work.
