This qualification is designed for learners who either work within the Housing Sector or aspire to.
The course aims to:
· Provide learners with a basic understanding of housing
· Introduce some of the skills and knowledge necessary to participate in housing related activities
· Prepare learners for future study. Learners may progress to Level 3 certificate in Housing Practice

The course consists of 4 mandatory units,they are: Housing Provision and Housing Organisations Customer Service for Housing Professional Development in Housing Assets, Repairs and Maintenance
Each unit will be assessed using marking criteria supplied by the Chartered Institute of Housing
The course is usually delivered monthly through half day classes which will provide students with the underpinning knowledge and support to complete assignments.
