CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing
The qualification is a level 4 vocationally related qualification for the housing sector. This is comparable to a first year of an undergraduate degree. The Level 4 Certificate in Housing aims to provide individuals with the technical knowledge and understanding across a broad range of housing practice a t a management level. The qualification explores areas of housing policy, law and also professional practice which supports the development of their own personal growth and engagement in learning and housing, It will therefore be of equal interest to: • Those in or aspiring to a supervisory or management role in housing, • Those that already have a level 3 qualification and/or experience of working in housing preferably at a supervisory/management level.
A pre course interview will be required.
The course consists of 6 mandatory units (36 credits), The 6 mandatory units being:- 1. Financing for Housing 2. Housing Law 3. Housing Policy 4. Professional Practice Skills for Housing 5. Housing Management Services 6. Housing Need, Demand and Supply

This Highfield qualification is aimed at individuals who are, or intend to be food handlers working in catering and hospitality industries, food retail, manufacturing and Health and Social Care provisions.
It is also appropriate for those providing services to catering premises including pest control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners and laundry and delivery personnel.
It is recommended that staff that prepare open high risk foods or handle food and have a supervisory role must have training to a level equivalent to a Level 2 in Food Safety within 3 months of starting work.
