BPEC Heat Pump Systems (NOS Mapped)
BPEC Heat Pump Systems is for Building Service Engineers.
You will learn, develop and demonstrate the knowledge required to install, commission, inspect, service and maintain Heat Pump Systems (non-refrigerant) in a domestic scale environment.
On successful completion you can become MCS accredited or join a competent persons scheme to register your installations. 100% PLA funded, subject to eligibility.
Please provide evidence of competence in:
- Water Regulations/ Water Byelaws (WRAS BPEC ERS, or equivalent).
- Unvented Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems (UVDHW) (ERS, BPEC, or equivalent).
- Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating (C&G 6084 or equivalent).
A short interview maybe required with the tutor.
Duration
- 4 days, including one assessment day at GCS Training’s Energy Center.

- Multiple choice online examination.
- Practical instruction and assessment.
- BPEC Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems.(NOS Mapped)
- ACS Natural Gas Installation and Maintenance.
- ACS LPG Gas installation and Maintenance.
- The fee includes course registration, manual and certification.
*It is essential that you bring a form of photographic ID with you on the day of your exam. Failure to bring ID may result in you not being able to sit the exam.
