Domestic Heating Course
This course is suitable for electricians and electrical installers with limited experience of installing heating systems.
This course is designed to give you a good basic introduction to the different types of heating systems and control devices in a domestic installation.
There is no formal assessment involved but we do include a knowledge assessment at the end of the course and you’ll receive a certificate of attendance.
A good working knowledge of the Wiring Regulations and some practical testing experience would be desirable.

- Health and safety requirements
- Building Regulations
- Components of domestic hot water and central heating systems
- S–plan
- Y-plan
- Under-floor heating systems
- Commissioning and fault finding
