This qualification is available to anyone who is capable of reaching the required standards and meeting the assessment criteria for the units in the setting in which they practice. It has been developed free from any barriers that restrict access or progression thereby promoting equal opportunities.
Course Structure- 1 mandatory units
· Understand the purpose and role of the Independent Advocate.
With the support of your assessor you will undertake a one day workshop and then complete assignments following the workshop.

This Level 4 qualification is aimed at experienced electricians with a good knowledge of inspection and testing and will develop a deeper understanding of the principles of installation design and specification. The course is theory based, taking candidates from a basic knowledge of BS 7671 to a thorough grasp of design principles to meet the requirements of that standard and particularly emphasising on the safe and ergonomic design on an installation which complies with relevant statutes, regulations; industry standards, and sound engineering practices.
