GCS Training students scoop CMI Awards
Two students from GCS Training have taken top accolades at the prestigious Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Wales Awards for Excellence in Cardiff.
The judges could not separate the achievements of Luke Godrich (pictured above, right) and Robert Ellis so the title of Outstanding Management Student Award 2015 was awarded to them both.
Luke, who was also shortlisted as the Higher Apprentice of the Year last year, works for the Department of Transport and has recently completed a Higher Apprenticeship CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership.
Robert has also completed a CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership and become a Chartered Manager this year.
“We are absolutely thrilled for Luke and Robert,” says GCS Training Manager Elaine McCallion. “Both juggle demanding jobs with family commitments and studying and have demonstrated the highest level of dedication. I’m so glad that they have both been awarded this wonderful honour as they both thoroughly deserve it.”
Also recognised at the event was student Sandie Richards, who works for the City and County of Swansea, and GCS Training Commercial Curriculum Coordinator Denise Brookes-Cooze, who were both ‘Highly Commended’ in the Women in Management category.
GCS Training is an established Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Centre, placed within the Top 20 providers in the UK. For more information please contact us on 01792 284400.
