Warehousing and Storage Level 3 - QCF Diploma
Overview
This Level 3 qualification provides those working in warehousing and storage roles within the logistics sector a qualification that develops and demonstrates their competence, skills and knowledge.
It is primarily suitable to individuals who would like to develop the skills and knowledge to supervise with a warehousing environment, and would be most appropriate for a senior team member, team leader or those in a supervisory role.
Key information
The qualification will be delivered through work-based learning, which will include a one to one session taking place every 4-6 weeks at a time suitable for learner and employer.
Mandatory units
- Contribute to the provision of customer service
- Supervise the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
- Provide leadership for your team
- Take responsibility for health, safety and security in your team
Optional units
- Moving and/or handling goods
- Check stock levels and record
- Recruit, select and keep colleagues
- Build and manage teams
- Schedule logistic operations to meet customer requirements
- Respond to problems in logistic operations
- Release vehicles for daily tasks
- Monitor vehicle movement
As learners progress through the qualification, they will create an e-portfolio of the naturally occurring evidence of the practical activity undertaken in the workplace to demonstrate knowledge and competency.
