QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Social Media and Digital Marketing (Wales)
This work based qualification is created to equip learners with the ability to understand, utilise and develop the skills needed whilst working in social media and digital marketing for business purposes. It also builds in transferable skills such as communication, team working, interpersonal skills and the ability to reflect on personal learning.
The job roles that the student may be applied to are Social Media Assistants, Consultants and Analysts, Digital Account and Marketing Assistants, Digital Communications and Engagement Officers
Students on this qualification choose to follow one of two to achieve QCF/NVQ Level 3 dependent upon the nature of their job role.
Pathway 1 City and Guilds level 3 Diploma in Social Media for Business
Pathway 2 City and Guilds level 2 City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing (QCF)
The qualification units include:
· Principles of social media within business
· Principles of keywords and optimisation
· Social networking management for business
· Using collaborative technologies
· Principles of marketing and evaluation
· Understanding the business environment
· Understand legal, regulatory and ethical requirements in sales and a marketing
· Develop own professionalism
· Digital marketing metrics and analytics
We would require a pre-course meeting with you and your employer to discuss the course and to establish that the level and course content is suitable. We will also ensure the candidate has the ability to demonstrate competence in administrative and managerial working practices within their current work role.
You will have learned your skills on the job or by attending training courses and your assessor will help you to identify if there are any skills gaps which need to be filled prior to assessment. The QCF/NVQ is a competence based qualification, delivered through work based learning and workshops.
Maximum duration of 18 months
It allows candidates to progress into a more senior role or possibly (depending on job role) to progress on to other qualifications such as Level 4 qualifications or Foundation Degrees.
