EAL Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Services
This qualification is for those who are working in the electrotechnical industry and have already passed the level 2 and level 3 academic qualifications (City & Guilds 2360, 2330 2356 or EAL level 2 and level 3) but have not been successful in gaining a full apprenticeship. They must be able to demonstrate their technical knowledge, performance and competence to the industry standards at Level 3 and in line with the current edition of the IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671. The objective is that those persons who successfully complete this qualification will be judged to have met the eligibility requirements sufficient to apply for an Installation Electrician ECS Card from the JIB.
After completion of this NVQ, candidates must then complete an AM2 to achieve JIB Grading
