Information on project launch event for regional SMEs
Please find below a Diary Marker for the launch of a programme to co-create solutions that increase Leadership and Entrepreneurship skills in both the South West and Central Wales regions.
Research indicates that there is a gap between the plethora of support available in the region and the number of small firms and micro-businesses actually taking advantage of it.
Through the UKCES Futures Programme, the RLP SW&CW will work with small firms and micro-businesses with 20 or fewer employees to identify barriers and co-create new ways to engage with and increase the take-up of existing provision.
The main focus of the programme is to identify and engage with those who have undertaken little or no leadership and/or entrepreneurship training, to understand why and to involve them in co-creating effective solutions.
As someone who has demonstrated an interest in the development of skills previously, we would welcome your input either directly, or by promoting this opportunity to employers, organisations, or individuals in your networks who would benefit from or add value to the process.
As places are limited, expressions of interest in the events should be sent in the first instance to: SMNicholls@carmarthenshire.gov.uk

“"Just wanted to let you know that I had a successful assessment today for Approved Contractor and Domestic Installer with the NICEIC. Part of my being successful is due to the courses I completed with GCS Training and the help you all gave me in passing these courses."
