Official opening of E-Cycle
Official opening of E-Cycle
The official opening of E-Cycle by Leighton Andrews, Minister for Public Services, took place on 31 October 2014.
GCS Training, which has worked closely with E-Cycle to deliver specialist training, was represented at the event by Commercial Coordinator Wyndham Llewellyn and Ken Brown, who is an assessor at both E-Cycle and IQA.
E-Cycle was created by the management buyout from HM Government control of the former Remploy ICT disposal business, and continues to live many of their life changing values. 95% of the workforce is registered disabled, so they are a supported business and can apply for contracts reserved under Article 19 of the European Procurement directive.
GCS Training looks forward to the continued training, partnership and business success that has seen
E-Cycle grow even in these difficult times.
Customer Feedback
“The overall experience of working with GCS Training has been an extremely successful one and we hope to replicate this with future trainees. The apprenticeship programme has been a resounding success with all three successfully completing the course and more importantly using this knowledge and experience to move on to attain full time employment. The biggest impact the training had was on the confidence of individuals.
