This qualification is aimed at individuals responsible for the purchase, delivery, production and serving of food in the catering industry and is also suitable for those who own/manage a small catering business. This qualification is supported by Allergy UK, who regard it as suitable staff training for catering outlets that wish to apply for their Allergy Aware Scheme. These include the manager's role in ensuring that food ingredients and allergens are effectively managed, procedures relating to the communication of ingredient information from supplier to consumer, the importance of implementing controls to prevent contamination from allergenic ingredients, and the methods for managing ingredient controls and procedures.

A non-UK citizen will be required to provide their proof of residency status( Biometric Residence Card/visa) documents will need to be emailed to us along with completion/signing by the learner of a College enrolment form no later than one week prior to commencement of the course, this will allow the College`s International Department to check eligibility to access Welsh Funding, if not eligible you will have the option to either withdraw from the course or pay the course fee PLEASE MAKE US AWARE OF THIS AT TIME OF BOOKING
