These recognised accredited qualifications are suitable for those new to the industry as well as those in a management role.

Hospitality and Catering Training Courses

This Highfield qualification is aimed at individuals who are, or intend to be food handlers working in catering and hospitality industries, food retail, manufacturing and Health and Social Care provisions.  It is also appropriate for those providing services to catering premises including pest control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners and laundry and delivery personnel. It is recommended that staff that prepare open high risk foods or handle food and have a supervisory role must have training to a level equivalent to a Level 2 in Food Safety within 3 months of starting work. Benefits to the Learner   Upon successful completion of the course students will: ·         Attain an accredited qualification that complies with current relevant qualifications. ·         The ability to apply the basic principles of HACCP ·         An understanding of principles of food safety ·         The ability to apply the knowledge gained from the course to their work

This one day course comprehensively covers the essential principles of customer service for the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industries. It is also used across a wide variety of industries where the quality of front-line customer service is key to the success of the business.   100% SFI Funded - *eligibility criteria applies*

Highfield Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders 100% funding available( subject to eligibility)

This qualification is aimed at individuals working in, or preparing to work in, any industry that involves the retail sale of alcohol. Anyone wishing to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol by retail on licensed premises must hold a personal licence.
This qualification is aimed at those working in the catering industry who are at, or wish to progress to, a higher or supervisory level.

Highfield Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Catering

The objective of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment in a catering role, or to support a role in the workplace. The qualification is intended for those whose job requires them to have some responsibility for food safety. Learners are likely to have management responsibilities for an operational team.
