Course Overview: 

ACS Gas Certificates expire every five years. The ERS Domestic ACS Gas Re-assessment  qualification will refresh your knowledge and understanding. It is essential to maintain your registration with the competent person scheme (Gas Safe Register) to work safely on Domestic Natural Gas Pipework and listed appliances.. 100% PLA funded subject to eligibility

Entry Requirements: 

Please provide proof of your ACS qualification which must be within one year of expiry.

A short interview will be required with the tutor.

Course Delivery: 

Duration

  • Five days including three assessment days at GCS Training’s Energy Center.

Assessment

  • Paper based multiple choice examination.
  • Practical assessment consisting of both scenario and simulated working environment assessment.

Assessment days may not be consecutive.

Progression Opportunities: 
  • Domestic appliance Assessments: DAH1, CPA1, MET1.
  • LPG Assessments: CoNgLp1(PD), CoNGLP1(RPH), ConNGLP1(LAV).
  • Building Regulations:  UVDHW, EnEff1, Water Reg.
  • ACS Gas Domestic to Commercial Conversion.
