Christmas Care Fayre a great success
Christmas Care Fayre a great success
Towards the end of last year, GCS Training held a special event at Sketty Hall for care providers.
The aim of the Christmas Care Fayre was to promote good practice in the sector.
Guest speakers included Katjo Stiller from Valley and Vale who spoke about creative management, particularly around end of life care with children and young people.
Sandie Grieve from the Care Council for Wales spoke about integrating the Welsh language into the sector, particularly for patients with dementia who might revert to using Welsh.
This event was made possible thanks to the financial support of Annie O’Reilly, Social Care Partnership Coordinator for Western Bay, who also addressed the audience about the Skills for Industry project and the valuable role this has played in up-skilling the sector.
Customer Feedback
“"Just wanted to let you know that I had a successful assessment today for Approved Contractor and Domestic Installer with the NICEIC. Part of my being successful is due to the courses I completed with GCS Training and the help you all gave me in passing these courses."
