Overview
This course is suitable for any individual who is involved with assessing and addressing manual handling risks.
It is common for roles including health and safety professionals, workplace champions, employee representatives and occupational health practitioners to have these responsibilities.
The qualification will enable you to:
- Explain the importance of reducing risks associated with manual handling activities
- Understand the responsibilities related to manual handling
- Explain what manual handling risks are and how they may result in injury
- Demonstrate and practice appropriate manual handling risk assessment techniques
- Apply wider elements of risk management of manual handling
Key information
The course delivery will be confirmed upon booking, and could take place at either our Jubilee Court or Sketty Hall Business School campuses.
