Course Overview: 

The course is designed for managers and supervisors with day to day health and safety responsibilities.

The IOSH Courses are nationally recognised and respected qualifications, designed and quality controlled by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.

Entry Requirements: 

No previous health and safety knowledge is required.

Course Delivery: 

• Introducing managing safely • Assessing risks • Controlling risks • Understanding responsibilities • Understanding hazards • Investigating incidents • Measuring performance • Multi-format assessment

We have a number of options for the method of delivery, either:

  • Block release – intensive course where candidates attend one week taught study
  • Day release – one day per week taught study for the duration of the course
  • Client bespoke

A certificate is issued by IOSH denoting successful achievement of the course.

We have a team of experienced tutors, excellent teaching facilities at Jubilee Court and a high standard of teaching materials and resources.

**It is essential that you bring a form of photographic ID with you on the day. Failure to bring ID may result in you not being able to sit the exam.**

IMPORTANT INFORMATION If a learner has any additional learning needs, we require at least 6 weeks notice to put processes in place, if your booking is within this 6 week time frame and extra support is required you may want to consider moving to a later course
